HELP ME!!

Hi,

My current car - 1997 Polo 1.9D has had it's time and it's ready to move on to someone else.

I have some ideas of what i want next but still not sure.

I really fancy a 6N2 GTi but then fuel costs are going to be sky high what with my diesel at the min and the way i drive. So what a downside on that but still on the list.

If there was a 6N2 1.9TDi i'd probably get it but i find the SDi sluggish. The 1.4 TDi just doesn't have enough bite to it.

All these plus a Golf TDi

I've got between £4k-5k

Not sure what to get, what would you say?

cant go wrong with a golf... I'd recommend audi a3??
