The dream garage. (for the 1000th!)

Post by Speedlaw »

I think I speak for all of us when I say I have a 'dream garage' - it's a bit sad and usually we don't bore each other with them but I'm sure we all have them...

Say you have a unlimited flow of cash - how would your garage look? Given the Dub lineup, here's what I'd have. All of 'em. And a couple of Polo's too, but besides them:

A fully restored Käfer:

And one (or more) T1:

Image

Then of course a mint Mk1 on bags and rare BBS's:

Image

Plus the wicker Mk2 with the gold Oettinger engine:

Image

Then for fun I'd have a Cult Mk3 on Porsche Club Sport's:

Image

Plus a >300hp Mk4:

Image

And a Passat (not the new one, oddly enough) for long trips and what not, slammed on Le Mans' obviously...:

Image

I'd like a Lupo too- probably the Gti, but looking like this:

And for sunny days the Strawberry Basket:

That's how.

Where's the Karmann Ghia ragtop, Notchback, Fastback and slammed type 2 bay.

That's my dream garage anyway.

Des, feel free to add them to show us what you're talking about. They make for excellent eye candy!

I will as soon as my webspace becomes available.

I have some crackers to show you but my taste is more 60/70 cars and vans not 90/2000 motors. I don't mind the critisism.

The Speedster is a must have, obviously! Gorgeous!

And to think my list only has modified Dubs in there - let alone other brands... I'd need a airfield!

Love the Murcielago too btw.

Fiat X1/9 with an Uno Turbo conversion and no rust. (Sorry, but it's true ) This would be be my hooligan car.

MK1 Golf, chromed to the hilt. Engine doesn't matter - this baby would be for appearance only. 8) This would be my show car.

Lupo GTi (almost made this dream reality :? ) This would be my everyday fun car.

Audi RS6 Avant. This would be my daily hack.

Masarati Spider (with the old pre-US curved rear lights). This would be my posing car.

And, of course, the fabled VW Sportster when/if it comes out.

That's it really. Low expectations, me.
