NEW GEAR KNOB

Can anyone help, purchased new momo gearknob can anyone advise the best way to get old gearknob off? I have been swithering about changing it would like the gear knob from anniversary golf or something else with gti on it. Does the cover etc have to be taken off to remove the gear knob

Can anyone help, purchased new momo gearknob can anyone advise the best way to get old gearknob off? I have been swithering about changing it would like the gear knob from anniversary golf or something else with gti on it. Does the cover etc have to be taken off to remove the gear knob

1)Pull the frame with the leather cover upwards

2) Use a flat screwdriver to losen the clip at the top of the knob

3) Slide the knob upwards by pulling it from the top.

Simple as that
