Angel eyes

Post by Big Nick »

well, I've just got these bad boys from ebay, I just wondered how easy they are to fit, or if any of you guys have already done this mod and you came across any problems? I reckon it should be easy enough, but theres always something seems to go wrong whenever I do any modding...

Once you've fitted them, post us an image or two. I was looking around for some headlights and these look fantatsic.

What colour is your car?

These would look awesome on a black polo.

looking at it, seems one complete unit with the side light, so I guess out with the original two part units (headlight and side light) and in with the new one and job done... but I doubt this simple hehehe  :D

thats just 1, ive got more somewhere...ill find em when i get home from uni....

but these rings are lit up by MY LEDs, not the 501 led things you can buy as the light is aimed STRAIGHT OUT... i wired up 24x 3mm LED's to aim WITHIN the ring, hence there bright and there white (they look bit bluey in the pics lol)

Looks porn don't they!
He told me he had some minor trouble gettin' them to fit, you have to cut away some pieces of the mounting clips of the side-indicators, cause normally you fit these later, but now you fit the whole thing at once, so you will have to "adjust" this a bit, nothing major though.

There are only 2 "points of critic" on these light:
1- the don't have glasses, but plastic, which is easy to get scratches on
2- there's a black "line" around the side-indicator, which you won't notice on the black version, but it does look really ugly on the chrome version :? , the designer forgot that little detail which is essential in my opinion

None the less, they're very original, and the black version's really great lookin'! GOOD CHOICE M8!
