Sidelight and Tail light not working

Post by SiDaBa »

Hello!!

Yesterday while in the car park i noticed that my passenger sidelight was giving a strobe effect (x4 LED sidlight, only 2 LED's were working i note). After a while it just stopped working. I also noticed that the tail light on the passenger side had also stopped working.

I've replace the sidelight with several bulbs now and still it doesn't come back to life and neither does the tail light (changed the tail light just incase of a coincedence).

I've checked the fuses too on the off chance (not greatly electrically minded incase someone mocks me for doing this). Are there any more ideas people can think of?

If it helps it's a 9n.

i no this is also a very basic thing, but it might be worth checking that u have a good clean connection! remove the bulb and look at the points where the bulb connects to the wires, check they are clean! if you have dirty connections then it could inhibit the lights!

just my 2p! thats wot it would probably be on my car!

:? haven't investigated this in daylight so i will when and if i can. Bloody hard to get my hand between the light and the Battery though

It's booked in for Monday  but if i can fix it before hand it'd be good.

Why's it effecting my tail light though?
