50-70mph

Anyone know the manufacturer's claimed 50-70mph times on 9n's?
In particular the 1.2 55, 1.2 64 and 1.4 fsi?

thanks mate. Anyone with more accurate figures?
I got rough figures of:

50-60mph : 6secs
50-70mph : 12secs

for the fsi

That makes no sense.

It takes less than that in my turbo diesel

Yeah but, Dino your 1.4 tdi will have more torque than the 1.4fsi! and torques what you need for pulling away 50mph-70mph.

No doubt people will shoot me down in a ball of flames!

how can u do 50-60 and 50-60 in two different times

I was being sarcastic - i do understand torque and all that malarky...

think he ment 50-60 and 50-70

i rekon mines quite nippy at that speed. 4th gear round 3k revs it pulls quite abit

i might time it and see. im probably wrong like!

Yea sorry, made a typo and didnt make it that clear.
I meant in fifth gear.
Did a few more runs - best i got was 10.3 secs 50-70mph

Be interesting to know what times you guys can get with the different engines.

1.9 TDI

50-70mph = 8 sec
50-80mph = 12 sec

Wasn't accurate mind, and trusting my memory, so you might need others to confirm these times.

Whats the specs of the FSi Polo BHP are they 8v/16v and do they come in 5 door, any1 have pics of them outside and inside.

Didnt like the shape before, but seen a couple of members black 9ns here and they look so sweet.

Fsi is quoted as 86bhp and are 16v, they come in 5 door and this is the only pic I can find of mine at the mo!
