Right then.
I've had it almost 2 weeks and done a few things.
Its had 2 oil changes, its had all its belts changed, its had a new battery, HT leads, plugs and if I can get a cheap induction kit, one of them too. The air pipe won't reattach to the grille so I need to find an alternative.
Anyway, I need help...
1) I am looking for some new wheels as the tyres on the 13s are shocking. I want 14" BBSs. Are E30 BMW wheels a bad choice, what with their low offset?
2) G40 brakes. What exactly do I need? Shall I do the master cylinder and get braided hoses and all that?
3) I'm getting a few knocks from the front suspension when going over little bumps and kerbstones and stuff. Any ideas? It sounds like bushes...are there any that go?
4) I like low suspension. You all know how low my Ibiza was on its KW coilies! Recommend me a good setup that goes low and doesn't bump about that much!
I've been thinking about selling it and getting a MK3 Golf, but I reckon with some more cash thrown at it, it'll be a cool little car! Sure its too small and feels like its going to kill me most days, but I can live with that!
Cheers,
Tom

1. BMW alloys I have seen done, what is the offset you're looking at?
2. G40 brake conversion - you will need calipers, carriers, caliper and carrier bolts and the metal sliders for the pads. Get yourself new pads and discs. The rest is plug and play, I did my swap myself about 4 years ago.
If you've got the ready money then get braided hoses at the same time, if your rubber hoses are anything like mine were they're dangerous. Mine were badly perished, yours may well be too. I'd advise changing anyway though while everything is in bits.
16v master cylinder is a case of personal preference, some don't like it.
3. No idea, sorry!
4. There's an FK or KW coilover kit that I've heard people rave about. Not cheap though.
