Will these fit?

Hi, I've seen some 15" 5 spoke team dynamics with an offset of 38, tyres on them are 195/50, originally on a saxo, will they fit directly onto a mk3 k reg polo coupe? Cheers

Tyre profile is too big. What PCD are they ? The spigot rings might be different diamter, I don't know citroens well.

i just checked google and citroen's have a PCD of 4x108, so won't fit get some nice oldskool vw alloys

I've also been offered some 16" team dynamic tornados with low profile tyres, the guy is off a polo website but would these fit? I haven't lowered my polo at all so they shouldn't rub, should they?

sorry, 16's won't fit without major arch mods, and even then will probably look like a shopping trolley on big rims

(my advice.....13's/14's or 15's MAX!)

i've only seen a couple of polos with 16"ers on! i suspect quite alot of work to make em fit!

i have 15" alloys on my old mk3 coupe. also team dynamics but the monza type! i had a few problems with scrubbing with these so i'd imagine 16"ers would definatly! o and if its on standard suspension, it will be far far too high and if your suspension is quite standard, the compression of the suspension will probably make the arches to scrub!

i had my old blue mk3 coupe on the standard suspension and it scrubbed, once it was lowered, i had new standard shocks fitted, they fitted the back ones which stiffened the rear up nicely, but they weren't able to do the fronts for some odd reason, and the car was very wollowy on the front and scrubbed quite bad! it took the head off one of the bolts holding the underarch on and pulled both arches out, making the edge razor sharp which took nice gouges out of the tyres, if i remember, i'll take some pics!

hopefully in the next couple of weeks i'm gonna do the front shocks on the blue mk3, so hopefully it will stiffen up!

my advise! 14" ur pritty safe with, 15" looks great but can sometimes be hassle! keep to a 6.5" width, 7" fit aparently, but my 6.5"ers with 195/45/15 tyres rubbed on the rear strut, only on one side mind

by the way, here is a pic of what mine looked like with 15"ers and lowered about 30-40mm

i ran 7x15 et 20 ats cups on my polo for a while,and despite removal of mucho metal on front arches,they still caught sometimes

They'll be 108pcd, or 3 stud if they're on an early, basic, saxo. So either way, no.

It isnt specifically. in fact lowered suspension is less likely to rub because there is less suspesnion movement as its firmer. Normal suspension is very soft and wollowy with more travel.

If you wan't to find out the hard way, go and buy big set of wheels and tyres.

The handling will be terrible and unpredictable and you speedo will be miles out, too.

Plus it looks rediculous

by big set of wheels are you referring to 15's or 16's? At the moment I'm thinking of 15's as I'm not lowering the car and I assume the 15's will sit better with the arch gap

they're saying 16's won't fit and will look silly if you did major work so they do, 15's are classed as big wheels. 13's and 14's look better, don't mess with the handling/speedo and shouldn't have problems with scrubbing...

I don't want to sound repetitive but will 195/50/15 deffo rub? The offset is 35, rim width 6.5 the car is not lowered at all
