Ooops

Post by ModifiedMadness »

Just went to Burger King, and basically there is a road on the way there that's national speed limit, I just happened to be going a little over that (well about 15mph over so not that much really) on the way home when I saw the car coming towards me flash, then saw the blue lights on top and all the markings.

Luckily he obviously couldn't be bothered to turn around, I was a bit worried the whole way home then

phew wee lucky escape mate
i live in constant fear of police now, its becoming a condition that i may very well need help for at the doctors.
for example if i have a police car following me i will turn off at the next road just to get him away from me!
anyone else have a fear of being followed by the polizei? (sorry i've been working with the third reich all day, or my work mates are all germans...something like that)

I'm the same, I don't mind driving behind them, but infront of them I always worry for some reason.

I'm the same with speed cameras, I always worry it'll flash, even though I'm not speeding.

i havn't been stopped so far (havn't been driving long though) i've got nothing wrong with my car so i'd only get stopped randomly which is fine, or if i do something stupid like cut a police car up (which i nearly did the otherday  ) so i'll be suprised if my luck lasts, if your driving after dark in a crap looking car then they tend to do random stops...and that'll include me :(

He didn't have to turn around, his job is done  as by flashing the candybar lights at you he's made you aware of your speed and you've then adjusted it accordingly. Plus for the remainder of your journey you've been checking your speed, so jobs a goodun!

Was only the headlights he flashed at me, otherwise I would have panicked. Yeah it done the job, he probably saw my brake lights come on after he flashed

in 5 years of driving i've never been stopped by the police (doug has!! naughty boy :D )but to be fair i try not to speed!
been flashed a couple of times for having my fog lights on whilst driving but don't do that any more (it was a phase, had just got them on my car-novelty value).
i have a good mate whos a copper and he said, when i had my mk5 polo, that he'd never pull me because the car wasn't brash and over the top.

Could we get you doen for speeding? You have just confessed to it and there was a police witness. Not saying I will but what is a post like that worth in court?

Well to be honest, him flashing me is as good as a warning, if I was to be done, then surely he would have came back to sort me out.
