Problem with my Angel Eyes

Post by polopowah »

I've just noticed that my Angel Eyes on my car have suddenly been popping around the edges (the sidelight rings)
i can't explain why or how, but theres supposed to be a ring of light right around ok, and it seems very dim in places now and in other places theres no light at all
i don't know what to do
All i know is FK make them and they are getting worse

any advice would be great

I'd get on to where you got them from mate, and kick up. You haven't had them that long have you?

So what you're saying is that the LED rings (sidelights) are being blown?

And instead of a steady glow all around the edge it's patchy. I'm presuming that they are LEDs that are used for the angel eye effect?

Can't help I'm afraid, I don't dabble with the electrics on my car :? but I just wanted to try and help make things clearer for anyone with some technical knowledge

Hope you can fix them! Or send them back to FK?

yup no steady glow, they are just patchy
one side is fine, but the furthest angel eye passenger side its barely on!
well dissapointed about this, im resorting to having my main beam on to hide the fact i have broken angel eyes

nope haven't had them long a few months
i will get pics up soon

As I said mate, if I were you, I'd be on the phone/E-mail to whoever you got them from making a fuss.

angel eyes

the angel eyes are made up of either 5 or 6 bulbs.its not a complete ring.more than likely one of the bulbs has blown or in my case the bulb popped out of the holder.it gives u illusion that rings are blown. i would check the bulbs and the holder first!

You should change leds(the ring has 3leds) but it isn't easy, original leds have poor quality because made in taiwan...angel leds often blow

:? they dont look like LEDs to me, theyre far too yellow, unless they are yellow leds :?: , more like filament bulbs to me.

if they are the same as the normal sidelight bulbs then they are W5W ones...

They don't sidelight 5W or filament, don't fit in the ring...The leds look like rear lamps led,it isn't yellow, somebody changed different colour (generally blue) in Turkiye but I don't...In my opinion you should changed it if under warrenty...
