its a 98 'R' reg, i was thinkin the 205 might be a sticking point, cos mostly ive seen people puttin 195's but that was with 15's, what is the '205' bit for? width of the tyre?

like someone mentioned earlier.....205 tyres may catch on pre-98' mk4 polos as after 98' the mk4 featured slightly bubbled arches very similiar to the mk5 6n2

yup width of the tyre, 45 is the height and 16 is your size
i'd personally stick to 195's, i have 195,45,16's on my mk5 6n2 and they just about fit in the arches.

Technomagnesio Detroit F1 i had them on my MK2 Golf which i was selling and the guy wanted it without them so i was quite happy. They are 8" wide aswell which is pretty cool.
