o dear! not too good!
had to do one on my blue mk3, its not bad, a bit of a pain though! y they never made them plastic!
my advise, i know the vw one is expensive but i got one through GSF and it wasn't the best fit! couldn't squeeze in all the cushioning above the tank (not a big deal until u shut the boot and u hear the tank rattle slightly!), and the filler tube had to be adjusted slightly to fit!
i think if i have to get another one, its gonna be a VAG one! at least its more likely to fit!

So annoying. Found it a pain in the arse getting the old one out as exhaust and handbrake cables were in the way.Its definately not fun lying on your back for over and hour with all the petrol fumes
