electric windows

Post by Dub1 »

is there any way of getting the electric windows to go up & down with holding the button for a second like of most newer cars these days? just its annoying having to hold the button down while it takes a lifetime for them to go up & down

cheers :D

you could program a microcontrollor to detect if the window up/down button was quickly pressed and get it to roll your windows all the way up/down.
ive been thinkin about doing this for some time now as it does get annoying waiting for them to roll all...the...way...up lol, anyone interested in a kit??

[edit] one kit will drive two windows, installation will involve some soldering / wire splicing

should have first working model in my car soon enough, one module will drive one window as it was a bit complicated to work it out for two.

been busy with uni work and trouble getting components, although if you look on ebay for auto window a few kits pop up, or use a one-touch ecu/controller out of a range rover/other car
