hey looking for some help my polo's Dim lights aint working! and my main lights are only working when the ignition is turned on! anyone any ideas on what could be causing this?? i need to get it sorted out asap as its due its MOT in a few days.

are sidelights a necessary part of the MOT?
you dont need to worry about the headlights only coming on with the ignition - thats the way its designed and its working fine
you may have a fuse gone, or both the bulbs have blown, etc. start with the fuse... invest in a haynes book of lies or a replacement handbook, too (because i havent the foggiest WHICH fuse it is)
