Any1 know what this is for?

right, had to remove my battery for a reason, and i below it there is a lever type thing with vw and audi logos on it. It seems to slacken and tension a cable...not sure what. Any1 have any ideas??? because i think i moved it accidently and dont remember how it should be, think it was slackened but not sure.

This is the thing im talking about....lever thing im touching

looks like its a weight for the gearchange cables..

lol. cheers buzby, yep its the weight. Glad to know its no problems, as its adjusted itself again after doing some gear changes
