8v VS gti suspension

dear gti people, ive a normal 8v 6n2 but ive got a -40mm polo gti kit for it,
but does this mean it will lower my car by 60mm?
because i know the gti is already lowered as standerd
please help

I would say it would lower less then 40mm, taking into account the weight of a GTi engine compared to an 8v engine.

Surely it would just lower it 40mm.

Wouldn't look 60mm on the non GTi.

If anything the GTi would look like you guys lowering yours 60mm.

Not quite sure about the -40mm gti kit, do you mean GTI shocks with 40mm lowering springs?

I thought the gti was only 20mm lower or something
