Post by mc_iver_9n »

Ordered some replica audi A8 alloys for my 9n off www.johnsonstyres.com over a month ago and they still havn't delivered. They have also taken 2 payments of £500 odd out my dads bank. which hes currently sorting out. has anyone else had bad experiences with this website?

Got the money back - time to order a new set of wheels. For 17''s how much will it cost for 205/40/17's on the front and 215/40/17s on the rear with probably budget tyres for now? any suggestions

Cheers Scott

Scott - look at www.mytyres.co.uk for very competitive prices. You could have a pretty decent brand in one of those size for about 70 each I reckon.

I got some new 17/205/40's put on the other day. Super budget was £48 a corner with VAT, fitting and balancing etc. Went for Falkens in the end which were £235 a set, not too bad.

All the best.

Just about to order Toyo Proxes T1-S 205/40/ZR17 for the Front and 215/40/ZR17 for the Rear. Will these fit ok? or shall i go for 205s on the rear aswell?

They'll fit. I had 215s fitted to the back of my Fabia (all round in fact). No problems. 215/45/17.
