I don't care what he was saying about all this horizontal or vertical sh1t the seats still weigh the same no matter how you have them

Maybe track cars should do that then, just fold the seats down instead of stripping them out

Nuff said surely.

Like the guy recently trying to convince me that a/ you couldn't play MP3s without an MMX processor and b/ you can't use networking in any version of windows before XP - once a silly idea gets stuck there, it can be hard to shake it out even with a scientific demonstration.

I like the way he thought over inflating the tyres also helped... maybe good for your 0-60, til you either take a long mway trip and they blow, or you try cornering and they don't grip.
0-60 in 9 secs, reminds me of timing the 1043 at about 16 seconds and being well chuffed. Til I did it in the other direction on the same road and recorded 18 secs... and then realised my indicated 60mph was more like 57...

he may have a point that it alters the weight distribution... but in a FWD drive car that's only going to bias it even more to the front (good for fast take-offs, maybe not so good for everything else) and reduce the structural rigidity a little bit to boot.
