never had colour coeded anything before... is it ok to use autoglym super resin polish and extra gloss protection on my polo gti bumpers, wing mirrors etc

and where is the best place to get a clay bar from?

Painted plastic stuff is still painted stuff, so you're fine using regular waxes and such.

The boys here will probably recommend you ditching the Autoglym stuff, and investing in some Zymöl. They're probably right too.

As an alternative, look into DT Concours - they have clay as well. Used their kit (thanks to Ian!) and was well impressed. Excellent results, lasting shine and smoothness. DTC is a 'classic' wax btw, not a synthetic coating.
