Think I might of found one

Post by Mouse_GTI »

One minor problem: my dad needs to arrange time off work and it is in Northampton which is 464 miles from here!

Spec:

2001 VOLKSWAGEN POLO 1.6 GTi 3dr Hatchback,
39,000 miles, Red. ABS, Climate control, Alloy wheels, Body coloured bumpers, Central locking, Drivers, passenger and side airbags, Leather heated seats, Headlamp washers, Xenon headlights, FVWSH, E/W, E/M, new tyres discs and pads, one previous owner. £5,100

I hope this is the one :D

By the time the guy finally answered the phone my dad was told it was sold. I'm now officially the most disappointed man on the planet :(

Unlucky mate. Don't worry. Good things come to those who wait. When I was looking for one. I was on they way to see a car and just joined the M1 and the guy rung me to say it had been sold. Never told me that someone else would be viewing it.

So don't feel too bad. Its just one of those things. Just think yourself lucky that you didn't waste any fuel.

Its a horrible feeling though.

Yep, as above, there'll be another one out there for you. I know it's difficult at the time and you'll really really want that leather, but see what you can find....

I remember chasing an X-plate silver one down in London with leather, climate and sunroof. Tried countless times to contact the seller but no joy at all. Most strange and I was gutted. But I'm now quite happy with mine, without leather or sunroof ;)

Chin up mate.

What about THIS ONE?

I can tell you it's in Plymouth, but 46k, black with black leather and the usual spec with climate at 4750 could be worth travelling for :D
