Post by Dan_B »

alright peps how u doing? i'm a new member to the site and just thought I'd show you - on the only sunny day we've had for a while - how clean i've managed to get my car. how u like?

Also on this note, what polishes does everyone use?

I used Meguiar's Tech wax in these pictures, but i've just brought the Auto Glym ultra deep shine, but havn't used it yet.

Looking very good. Hopefully this month will be much brighter than the last!

I tend to use Zymol or Auto Glym.

I thought it was wax then polish?
nooooooo!

use the polish to remove imperfections etc as its a mild abrasive, this then provides a nice smooth surface for the wax to adhere to and give a glossy shine... if you want to get really shiny then you can use a sealant after you've polished before you wax...

I just spent like £90 on products:

Meguiars Clay Bar
Meguiars Detailer spray
Meguiars NXT Wax
Meguiars Applicator pads x 3
Meguiars Scratch X
CarPlan Triplewax Synthetic Chamois Cloth

and one of those Electric car polishers.

Cars gonna be bling tastic when im done!
