leather cleaner

Post by theclient »

for all you gti owners, if you dont already do this then i reccomend you do.

i read the auto express review of leather cleaners and went down to halfrauds to get some mer leather cleaner.

i cleaned the wheel and gearknob on the gti and what a difference!!

they both look like new and feel absolutely gorgeous, the amount of crap that come off onto the cloth was pretty unbelievable, its reccomended you do this about 4 times a year, more if you use the air con alot because it dries out the natural oils in the leather.

do it :D

I used Meguires 2 step leather cleaner on my seats

It totally mashed one of my rear seats cause I put too much on. I have splotches all over it. So if you use the above use tiny amounts.

Just got some 'mers' leather cleaner and agree it is very good cleans and feeds the leather very well. Got some halfords own 'upolstry cleaner' for the seats and door cards as it did well in the autoexpress magazines tests, and it is very very good, cleaned up my seats and door cards on the lupo so well, better than steam cleaning, and was very easy too ! :)
