Air Con

Post by clees »

Hi guys

Sorry if this has been answered before but can anyone tell me why my air con isn't that cold. I'm driving my sisters 206 today with air con and it's freezing compared to mine!!

May need a re-gas, mine isn't as cold as some other cars I have driven. I tend to put the fans on full and select "LO" as temperature and after a few mins the car will be like a fridge.

Regas is about £60 - £90

The A/C of my polo is freezing cold even in HK.

Two things to look for....
1, check the warm/cold switch, the wire cable may trapped after
the console remove/reinstall.
2, Radiator fan, it should turn to full speed in few seconds after you
turn on the A/C.If not, check the fan.

But sometime it just the gas blow off if the hi pressure switch overheated,
and that should also related to the radiator fan not function poperly.

Cheers.
