It's now over a year since i got my gti, and i still enjoy it, for the 1st time in ages i have gone for what i call a proper drive!

I average 400 miles a week in my polo, but this is all motorway / heavy traffic driving, it's good to find a few twisty roads and really go for it.

I forgot how well the engine pulls after the 4k mark....

The car that replaces my polo will have to be very special indeed!

(Bit of a pointless post i know but I am sure a few of you guys have been enjoying your cars in the hot weather)

I thought the exact same thing yesterday,

Good on ya guys. Time to celebrate the Polo! Sold mine a week ago and just found it on autotrader for sale A truly great car and will remain as my screen saver fro some time to come. Happy Gti'ing! (green with envy).

I was chuffed with mine today when the external temp gauge was saying 25 degrees and sitting at 75mph on the motorway with the air-con car was very chilled inside.

On my way back from Asda with a boot full of beer and a BBQ stuff for inters.

It doesn't get much better.

P.s well would have been better if a tasty chick had been in the passenger seat instead of my mate

After reading this earlier I got the urge to give it some when I was out, so took the long way home and took it up and down a dual carriageway.

I love this car, even managed a bit of tyre squeal around a roundabout

I still have to think about getting stuff for inters, how are you going to keep the food chilled for the BBQ Del?

I was coming back from Silverstone today, and i love how theres still some punch in the engine when your in 5th doin 85ish on the M1 to pop past a car, and then some country roads on the way back, was good fun! then again ive enjoyed driving my car everytime since i got it in March!

Well was gonna get an electric coolbox out of Helfrauds but for a decent sized one it was £65, so.... i'm just gonna use my exisiting 33 litre coolbox with some ice packs inside it.

Might not be freezing cold but will be cool enough to keep the beers chilled enough.

I may be needing help putting my tent up, can't be arsed to have a trial run and me and my bro have never done it

Well here is my tip of the day, as passed on by my mum, who knows all there is to know about food and cooking.

If your taking burgers and sausages etc down. Put them in your freezer before hand. this means that they will stay fresher longer and keep your beers cool as well as they will act as big ice packs in your cool box.

They will be thawed out by the time you need them and a huge coolbox is only about £15 from argos, possibly cheaper from Woolworths
