top gear or any car show tests of are polo gti's?

Cant remember which prog it was top gear or one of the others, but they tested a Red Mk5 GTi. If I remember they thougth it was a bit dull lol......

I bought an Autocar review from 2000 and they total write it off. Why do critics hate Polo's so much? Dull to drive? Well my FSI certainly ain't dull to drive so I doubt a GTI will be!

I've got a copy of the same magazine. Although its a solid and well put together hatch, it failed in many peoples eyes on price, and was constantly compared to the Peugeot 106 GTi, which was faster, cheaper and far better handling. No matter, coilovers will sort out the handling issue. I know which of the two cars I would rather own

...........but is french and can be pulled apart using only your bare hands!
