Just got myslef a 53 Polo 1.9Tdi Sport. Decided I would remove the rubbish tape player and put in my Kenwood Mask headunit today. Sadly, there is absolutely zero space behind the standerd vw unit!
Where am I supposed to put the 3 sets of phono's, CD changer cable, radio aerial cable & the kenwood wiring harness that my kenwood unit has hanging out of the back?
I guess removing the 6 disc in dash changer will give me some space to tuck all the wires above or below the Kenny unit, so is there a blanking plate for the dash or a shallow cubby hole that I can get to replace the 6 disc changer & improve the space its taking up and create somewhere to tuck all the wiring?
Also anyone have a link to installing an amp .... where the power cable goes through the bulkhead and the best route for getting phono's from the boot to the headunit?
