oil for 16v.

ive used the search and all i can find is what brand of oil to buy not the actual weight/grade of oil i actually need to put in my 1999 polo 16v.
does anyone know?

VW use Quantam synta oil in the grey colour bottle, not sure what its called, Its a 10-40 oil though if that helps.

only use the best the quantum silver.

its better for the car and its cheaper than any of the oils you will find in halfords.

i think i payed around Â£10 for 5liters (or 6i cant remember now) i got it from autovolks solihull. and they only sell approved VW lubes.
