Can I have 2 head units installed?

Post by marcman »

I have a Dension DH100ix, Hard Drive based, MP3 Head Unit. It's the dogs bo11ox but unfortuntely is let down by a very poor tuner that has trouble picking up 75% of radio stations.

Is it possible that I can splice all the relevant power and speaker wires and run the original VW Gamma head unit along side (well, underneath) the Dension so I can use it when I want to listen to the radio? Obviously the 2 head units will only be used individually but can anyone see any problems I might get doing this?

TIA
