back from the bodyshop

Post by logistix »

hello everyone, my car was in the bodyshop this past week to have a couple of dents on the bonnet and on the roof sorted out. While they were at it, I asked them to fill in the antenna hole. I think the result looks excellent 8)

I also fitted the Blaupunkt internal antenna I had lying around. It is composed of a receiver and a pair of antenna wires mounted on the windshield. I didn't know there were so many radio stations!

The bodyshop also painted the front lower valence as it had been scraped badly. This time the rough texture of the plastic is gone forever, they sanded it down so it has the same surface as the rest of the body.

Looking forward to your opinions. Take care

Looks really nice mate. Looks a good job they've done there. So did you connect the new one to the wires from the old one?

thanks for all the nice comments  i really like how the roof turned out. next in the project queue are 6000k xenons with FK projectors, cold cathodes for the boot and a triple gauge kit with a boost gauge, oil pressure and voltmeter. The gear will arrive on sunday so watch out for pics next week.
Cheers

I like the smooth roof and lack of removal of the radio aerial. Wonder how much a mod like that costs in the UK...
