Do they make one for POLO 6N2 GTI?
Anyone tried?
Some of my mates here in HK installed on their GOLF GTI,
they claimed that the car become much responsive on acceleration.
Sprint booster anyone?

Looks a like a good idea for a DBW throttle car.

I doubt it is. It's a device that increases the throttle response in drive-by-wire cars (including the GTI). It looks like a good idea and they make one for the Polo, also.DubGTI wrote:Ahh just one of those stupid Ebay type resistor things![]()
Sorry smokeGTI but i dont plan on fecking my engine, thanks for the offer anyway
Oh i see it connects to your accelerator pedal giving it some on the gas constantly no doubt, so when you go for gold the engine is already revving slightly higher giving you the edge.
Do reputable tuning companies fit these things ?
Just have an incling about this, have you noticed the link to the Turbonator website on that page ? Supercharge any car for $69.95

It does seem a good idea, in principle from what they say on the site. But as you said, tuning companies aren't exactly ranting and raving about it. I don't think there would be any gains from it really, thinking about it.DubGTI wrote:Oh i see it connects to your accelerator pedal giving it some on the gas constantly no doubt, so when you go for gold the engine is already revving slightly higher giving you the edge.

That 'supercharge your car for $69.95" site is brilliant. I wonder what sort of gains I'd get from putting one on my puny 1.0 engine...
