facelift polo 1.6 airfilter

can any1 help me out, i've got a new flatbed airfilter for my 1.6 polo but i have no idea how to get to the airbox to replace the old 1. do i have to remove the engine cover and if so how?? there are like 20 screws in awkward places

assuming its the same as a 1.4, take the cover off the engine unscrew the screws and it should come apart, there you will find the filter. Is this what you were talking about?

yes it's the same as the 1.4. ok i know i have to take the cover off so which screws. is it the four at the back and the two on the sides near the back?
