Another Insurance Question
I was just thinking you know when you put another cars engine into a car, how do you go about insuring it. For example the supercharged G60 Polo the other week on E-bay. What would you say to insurers? Do they basically have to use their discretion to agree a price? Just curious.

firstly u have to get the V5 log changed! if this isn't done then its illegal!
so say u've got a 1.4 polo and u put a 1.8T in it, u have to get the log changed which notifies the DVLA and this will/should update the records of the insurance companies!
its best to go with specialist insurers anyway if ur doing that kinda modification to a car!
