PVW November 06 Cursed???

Post by Biddle »

I was fliping through this issue (november 06 Issue 121) and was looking at the pictures in on the second page of the E-Rection 06 feature. Well in the top left of the page, above Newport you knows it sign there are three cars. Two of which I believe are no more. The VIA GRA I think is Gra GT's and Mitch's lupo have bumped or caught fire. So this leads me to believe that that corner of the magazine is haunted, being halloween time an all. I wonder if the red one is ok?

Ha, dont ask!!

I rang them up this morning as I hadnt heard from them since it was authorised for repair (5th Oct). He said they were still waiting for parts that they'd ordered to come in. So far of the 54 that have been ordered they have received 1

Apparently it is VW that are taking their time in getting the parts out to them.

Parts can be such a pain for delivery, bet theyre working it in with other jobs tho aswell.

Worth waiting for if it's a good bodyshop, these big places that do it Bish Bash Bosh are a pet hate of mine.

Must be a dub thing Gra, VW in Bedford had a Lupo in there for weeks that had been broken into, the Technician I was talking to said they were waiting for parts.

It was in there for at least 2 weeks.

UPDATE!!!

Car is looking pretty sweet now in the body shop. Almost ready which is why I went down with Gra to look at it yesterday.

Just the odd couple of scratches, dust under a few bits of paintwork and overspray on the passenger sill. Oh and the front GT badge is missing.

Before it went in we stripped the car thinking it was going to be written off and they have put in new door pins and put an aerial on! (we took alu doorpins and aerial off!) Reckon he'll get replacement headlight covers too?
