Post by polokris »

well some of you remember my old Polo MK2 COOOOP S.... i never bought it out, but a few peeps seen it

1.3 fast little thing...

well here she is.....

i sold it back to my mate Richie T, and we went to move it on Sat.... i was behind him coming out of clyne, going under the bridge.... (sum may know,) at 30mph this road is bad enough.... but mixed with each of these:

1) wet roads
2) 60MPH Pug 205
3) Seriously DRUNK driver

results in a VERY bad neck and THIS...

Rich....

rich wasnt sure where the damage was.... then he realised that he'd lost and damaged his petrol cap......

the funny thing is that the car is NOT bent!! SERIOUS!! its AMAZING, the roof, chassis, floor, is ALL straight... but with a big DENT in it!! lol... Tough little cars mind!!

i was RIGHT behind rich, and all i saw was his headlights spin around from 0-100 in MILISECOND, and the pug fly past me about an INCH away.... scary!!

but Rich is alright.... very wee wee off, but same time hurting.... we can both smile at this now.... cars can be replaced..... but just shows that you dont know wots around the next bend!

get well Richie son!!

here is the Pug also... it ended up on a bank.... and its guts all over the road.... lol.... its propper BENT too....

ouch, that confused me looking at those 1st few pics trying to work out where the damage was

always a pity to see a polo destroyed...

...especially when it's down to a drunk driver and the like :(

oooouch! Lucky your mate wasn't injured...........lucky the polo is a strong wee thing!

My cousin had an 86 mars red coupe S that was totalled by an uninsured driver a few years ago!

hey dont worry........ the pug, just put the front wheel straight and no one will notice n e difference........ as for the polo........ im sure a bit of scratch remover should sort that out.......

but on a serious note, if that polo was one of the newer ones that would be a right of i bet as the older cars dont have all this safety stuff where the car crushes up to absorb the impact....... thats the good thing about the older cars, they can take more..... modern cars r to safe. my gfs mg zr got hit up the back...... told everyone this story b 4 so wont bore u again........ and looking at it it didnt look that bad, but the car was a right of all cause of the safety stuff.... i think. i think the guy who went up the back of her write his car of to... cant remember.
