headlight adjusting

Post by M7 »

just had the bumper off setting the headlights back in the units as they were terrible, wobbling about etc as i hadnt got the bulbs in properly when i changed bulbs.
they're in fixed now but the left is sitting slightly higher than the right. is there a straight forward way of aligning them?
thanks 8)

if you know one headlight is ok the it is simply a job of parking 1.5-2meters from a garage door then adusting until the heighest parts are level.

if they arent, use another car and mark the heighest points with masking tape or similar. park yours in the same place and adjust them.

yep should be near on the inner side and one in the middle. The inner one is the side closest to the wing. It looks like a plastic allen bolt, HTH
