Coilovers Rock!

Post by Mouse_GTI »

I couldn't resist giving the car a right good drive tonight and have to say I had a big grin afterwards. The handling is so much better and the car is just so chuckable. Can't wait to get my proper cold air feed sorted out and exhaust in the future 8)

I can safely say that after spending my lunch break today hooning about the back roads near town and down the bypass to work, I most wholeheartedly concur! 8)

What coilovers do you have ?

Is the handling that much better over springs ?

I can't decide which way to go !

Mouse and I have both got FK Konigsports.

I had a drive out from Shrewsbury to Dolgellau and back today and it was brilliant, this car has never entertained me so much in three years of ownership :D

Once the tracking and camber have been re-adjusted after lowering, the handling is superb compared to standard. I've got new front tyres on too so it all adds up to loads of grip and great responsiveness.

Cheers 8)

Yep, the one and only Dolgellau haha. No idea if I passed through Caernarfon I can't recall any sign posts for it? Route was on the A458 from Shrewsbury through Welshpool, Llanerfyl, Mallwyd and then at Mallwyd turn onto the A470, through Dinas Mawddwy and my actual destination was about 3 miles short of Dolgellau, a place called Dolserau Hall Hotel :D
