re-con 16v gearboxes

where can i get a re-coned 16v gearbox, i dont want my one to get re-conditioned as i need my car back on the road asap. having trouble finidng anywhere that sells one. if not ill have to go down the second hand route

anyone?? can anyone even point me down a route of a second hand box. iv tried ebay. no luck there. dont no of any breakers because i live in jersey (channel islands). a name or website of wear i could get one from would help me alot. i just want my polo back on the road

Â£500 for a recond box from gsf or eauro car parts.
Or u can do what im doing and get my gearbox totally overhauled for Â£400. Also look in yellow pages for it.
if your guna get a new box u might aswell get a new clutch!!
