my advice would be take it to the garage where u got the exhaust fitted and tell them and see if they can do n e thing. if they say no then take it to a vw garage and see what they can do.

Mines done this when i put the decat on. You will need to get this checked as it may fail the mot with the emmisions being too high. In my case, i will just be sticking the cat back on and it'll be fine.

Which light? The EPC?

If its the EPC light then its complaining that its gone out of adaption range, which is probably to do with faffing about with the exhaust, and changing the backpressure or resonance.

If so, you will need to switch it to basic settings - which requires vagcom but will not bother you again.

vag-com is a fault code reader software that you put on your laptop and youand use it to read and and test componets just like a dealership but cheaper in the long run. hope this helps
