4 stud to 5 stud

Post by mattyy »

Guys,

I need some advice!!!

I have an X reg 1.4Tdi polo, and I have just bought brand new Audi TT 17inch 5 spoke alloys from a showroom for Dirt cheap!!

But its a 5 studed alloy...

So how the heck do I fit it on the polo, which is 4 studed????

Advice needed!!

Either hub adapters, or sell the TT wheels for a profit on ebay and buy some that fit natively.

The 25mm one, That means whatever the offset of the wheels are......take 25 from that, and you have your new offset, which i think is gonna be very low...and those TT 17's are gonna scrub SOOOOOOO bad!

After ringing and speaking to various car shops, i have been advised that H&R are crap quality, and that some haven't even heard of PCD Adapters.

What the f**k?!?!?

i might just be better off selling the wheels off.

Whats the offset and width of the wheel? Will be on the back, should be something like et35 or e35. It should also say 7j or similar. Let me know and i'll tell you if it'll scrub.

Also, sorry to say this, but polo's look pants on 17's :(

Yeh id say something similar to that offset, and a polo on 17's with on et10......is defo gonna scrub!!! With any amount of lowering.

The audi wheels are 7.5J x 17 ET 56

i have also just bought another set of wheels...i know im so broke aswell!!

BBS rims with the following code: ET35RS715,

these are 4 stud, 7J x 17H2

will these fit on the polo??

remember my polo is a 1.4tdi so it has standard suspension.
