Power steering knocking

Can anyone help - does anyone have a knocking sound from their powersteering when turning almost to full lock in both directions?

I have this problem, have taken it into VW garage and they telling me they cannot find a problem at all. Also have mentioned the pulling under braking and acceleration and they say they cannot find problem with this either.

Now they say they will charge me Â£100 for investigation fees and I haven't even had these problems fixed!

Hi There,

I know this is a silly question for you but is the front wheels done up correctly. Cause I have had a similar problem where my wheel nuts was loose.
