my polo is silly

Post by Chally_Rai »

My polo is silly for many reasons...

a) i think the drivers door is a little fooked...i notice it whenever it is windy...it kinda at the top sticks out more than the passenger door and i could swear it lets the wind in, i get a breeze and its sooo scary driving over a bridge in the wind and rain on a motorway, i end up clutching on to the wheel. Have thought about taking a hammer to it....please stop me.

b) the vent things dont go hot, they are always cold, the feet ones are ok, i can get toasty feet, but the other ones are just always cold.

c) the green light to show your lights are on dont work, im assuming i need to change a bulb...

d) it has a botched repair on the side near the bonnet that looks silly

e) it sometimes smells of burning rubber...

Hehe thats a fair few reasons - the door sounds like it could be a bad seal or something too :P

As for the burning rubber, when I have been shooting down the dual carriageway and come to a halt, I get that smell - Probably because I am pushing the engine a bit 8)

The green light for the lights is a bulb I think - my mate has the same car :P and it was just a bulb :)

My one keeps opening its left hand window - the winder is being wierd :P

Cheers,

Alex

Hmm car ghost - I like the idea of that. Maybe this ghost is trying to kill me with all the fumes coming in through my air vents hahah :P

I think I've got one of those car ghosts, My ashtray randomly opens when I'm driving along, I don't tend to notice until I go to git the indicators and the tray is in the way!

My passenger door seems to do this, at fast speeds it sounds like its not properly closed and lets a breeze in, and the electric window on that side seems to slow down about half way down at a certain point....hope my car hasnt been crashed :(

Another reason:

A tube thing that, I havent looked particulary closely but i think goes from the air filter and blows some of the heat back into the car maybe? has come un attached. The car was sounding different so me and my friend stopped in tesco carpark and opened the bonnet....need a new jubile clip it seems.

dumb car. :?
