i need as much help as i can get

I well want to swap out my 1L for a 1.3L and gear box but how hard will this be and where is the best place to pick up a 1.3L engine,gear box,drive shafts,carbs.
i am also so wanting the extra set of lights like you get on some modles of the polo & golf were woud you get some.

best keep a eye out for a 1300 mot failure on ebay or local ads..mk3 1300gt is best doner car

its pretty straight forward to drop the whole lot out and swap it in , you'l need decent stands and a good trolley jack a selection of tools..might be a idea to rent a engine crane too

when the lump id out id suggest putting a new clutch in , theyre cheap on ebay

mk3 gt's started on j plate i believe

if you get a gt you can boost power with a high lift cam,chip, 4 branch exhaust system , golf afm

i think a standard gt will be a big differance to a 1.0ltr
