Not bad at all

My Uncle phoned me to tell me that for my 21st he's booked me for a 2 hour track session in a Porsche Boxster. Well chuffed! 8)

Nice one mouse.

That's still one thing I want to do, probably go with an Aston Martin though because it's a car I'll never own but would love to

Well just been out in it this afternoon. It was a top of the range Boxster S with pretty much every extra available (including Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes which stop the car from 60 in 2.7 seconds) and only 300 miles on the clock. 3.4 6 cylinder, 295bhp, 0-60 in 5.4 and 169 top speed. What a fantastic car. So well crafted on the inside with neat carbon fibre trim. The stop watch was a neat idea and the computer stores lap times and everything.

Spent about 2 hours driving out on country roads (some t**t in a Punto overtook me when I had the top down, sticking to the 60mph limit   ) and then onto the airfield. Did losts of acceleration tests, braking tests, cornering tests and tried out all the different damping settings and the PSM on/off. It is insane how quick this thing stops, and safe too! Got a short shift gearbox that made mine feel flimsy when I got back in. In fact my clutch felt light as a feather after driving home!

Brilliant car...and that's only a Boxster!

Quality car, and nice pics. I bet you loved it - i got a similar thing for Christmas from my mum. Only it's in a Ferrari - I'll book it in the next couple of weeks and let you know how i go on. I'd prefer a porsche though if i had the choice
