How do you remove the engine cover???

Hi, this may sound a bit jovenile, but could someone tell me how you remove the engine cover from a 9n3? Thanks :?

on my 1.9 tdi, pull ! lol

Seriously, mine is held on by 2 little notches at the front and one slides out at the back

Hi
I have a VW Polo 1.2 64LE. -2004
Could somebody tell me how to remove the engine cover and check if the
air filter is dirty?

Is the a pollen filter and how to check it?

The pollen filter is located below the passenger side glove box.
