There only testing the car - it wont be the finished article as i don't see huge rally style lights on the roof being the next big thing tbh.

Haha very true. Its a lovely car 300BHP i wish i had that much power!

wow....much better..the mk5 r32 looked like the normal car with braces....still doesnt top the look of the mk4 r32 tho..but much better!

Yep it does say R32 on it. Possibly because they don't want to promote the fact it is the new R36 as it is in development and them being spy shots and all.

More like the finished article is bound to be:

A lot of people are still dubious, as although the engine is in production and being used in the Passat in the NA market, there are major doubts about it fitting in the engine bay due to it's design and the way it is mounted.

I dread to think of the price tag of the R36 for the UK market !!

The Ed.30 Gti is producing 290bhp from just a remap of it's KO4 anyway.

I've said to a few people on her that im waiting for the price to drop when the R36 comes out.

Last time I saw that front bumper it was on a Nova :lol:

They might be getting 290bhp from a GTI, but I doubt it's got anywhere near as much torque as a V6.
