Improved Fuel Consumption

Ever since my service my MPG is slowly increasing. Where I used to get 32.5 average for everyday driving I've went from 33 to 34 to 34.5! That's even driving like a chav time to time:

It's a GTI, why should I care about fuel economy!

Thats pretty impressive economy!

Since getting rid of my decat, i'm getting about 350 miles to a tank now!!

Was struggling to get 300-310 before!!

Just checked, based on me putting 43 litres in and getting 350 miles = 37MPG

i usually get about 280 miles to a tank driving pretty steadily, is that about normal?

you'll be around 30mpg based on 43 litres in your tank

i only get about 250miles per tank, thats shell v-power, surely theres something wrong?

thats generally driving around town, yeh i have a heavy right foot but 250, thats quite a bit lower?

Well for the last two tanks miles-wise: fuel light came on just over 280, then just over 290 the next time, compared to just over 270 usually

i used to get around 80-85 miles to a tenner in the polo.

i know get 120 miles in the golf tdi

I'm getting about 250 miles a tank as well. 70 miles to a tenner-ish.

My drive to work is where I do most of the miles, and it's a city drive. If I can spend a tenner on the motorway it normally goes up to 80 miles/tenner
