I'm with Clawz on this one.
I have noticed that polished alloys look best on cars where there are large areas of flat body like in on the side of the Ibiza and runnig along the length on the Polo.( e,g the MR2 does's have this) It is the way the mind works in that it seems to us like the smoothness of the body panels are continued in the wheels thats why Polo-03's car looks good. Its a visual massage for blokes (and girls) who like a consistant smoothness about everything.(take that how u will)
Another thing needed for the "consistant smoothnes" to work is that the bumper strips have to be body coloured for this "look". Imagine Polo-03 with plastic black bumper strips along its doors.
As for Claws, I think he is onto somthing there. We can have like a Union of Polo Drivers with opinions and views that would allow us to buy cheaply as a group. Hang on we do have a sort of union (the forum) so come on lets get buying lads and ladies
