i did something the other day that i haven't done for a long while!
don't be rude...........i bought Max Power!!

and to my big suprise, there wasn't a chavved up saxo, clio, corsa, or 106 anywhere to be seen!!

the feature car was a 900bhp twin supercharged Mustang but there was also a VW Bolf (Bora fronted Golf) and a whole feature on Rat Look VWs plus another buyers guide section on VAG turbo cars!

it no longer has stupid comments and there was a classy feature on a special kit available for a Jaguar XJR (yes there was a girl in this feature but she didn't get her t**s out once).

theres no stupid section on girls at cruises and pink or brown stuff!

summing up, Max Power is clearly under new ownership and has turned a leaf for the better!

It does have a new editor and is apparently trying to turn itself around.

well i was really suprised when i read it! some of the photography is very good aswell! may think about getting it more often!

Golf+, even tho the cars are nice, have almost adopted a sorta old max power feel, stupid comments within the pictures, and i feel the mag has got a bit brash.

The show has been cancelled thsi year too so maybe there trying to steer away from chavved up 1.1 corsas

i was pleasantly suprised mate!
i've seen that polo gt in the flesh and it is mad. i think that was the one at E38 last year that was going round collecting rubbish and putting it on his roof rack

including a bottle of someones waste water

looks like they're all turning a new leaf. does this mean that euro style is the new jap/bodykit/lexus style? It was nice to be different!

Oh for sure. Over the past few months ive noticed a big increase in euro cars getting in these mags. i dont buy them but i sometimes look at the covers when im passing them by in tescos and ive seen alot of mk4 Golfs and i do recall a corrada i think... Plus youve got regualr beemrs and mercs on there if memory serves. Been long overdue and finally a decent seen is coming in fashion.

Bad side is this means our polos wont be so special anymore if it really catches on.

Thats when ill fully adopt the crazy dub style! lol Laminate floor effect bonnet and paper mache look doors i think...
