Mk6 Interior Pics

Hi, UK-Polo n00b here

Just wondering if anyone has any pictures of the mk5 interior, specifically the door cards. I have a Fabia vRS and im trying to figure out similarities due to there being pretty much no styling goodies for the Fabia.

Hello Colin,

I think the Polo you mean is the MK6 (9n), not the MK5 as the cards would be too small and out of shape.

IMHO I don't think they'd fit because the similarities of the Fabia, Ibiza and Polo are still very small (they pretty much end at the floorpan and engines)

I think the Fabia is more closely related to the New Polo (9N)...

Hi agian Neo...

Been thinking about this and it's probably going to be people with New Polos asking you about stuff they can use off a Fabia on their Polos, not the other way round lol...

I know of a few people who have bought Fabia Silver Door Pins for their Polos and another few who were very interested in the cubby draw that slides out from underneath the stereo!

Was it the door cards that you wanted to put on yours?

Now what would be nice would be a full 9N Polo Leather Interior... M M Mmmmm!

One of the only things putting me off getting a Fabia VRS is the light coloured interior... I bet it's a pain to keep clean?

Oh.. Ok, sorry i thought the 5 was the new Polo

It was just because ive seen some Ally look door handle trims on Awesome-GTi for the Mk5 and they look similar in shape to the ones on the Fabia.. think it would spruce up the interior

All is clear...

On Awesome's website they mention "Polo5 9N Aluminium Interior Parts"

I think if you use the unofficial Polo "MK" instead of the VAG Designation (ie 9N) the New Polo is generally referred to as the MK6...

Anyway, it looks like Awesome has some nice alloy trinkets for the New Polo...

Neo, can you post a pic of your doors (specifically the electric window / door lock switches)

We'll then be able to tell you which Polo has similar switches to yours.

Hello Neo,

Your handles are definately a different shape to the 9n's.

Although the window switches are the same as a Lupo GTI (possibly Polo GTI as well?) Maybe they might offer something. No pics to hand, but have a search on the web. The Lupo GTI has a dark metal handle (don't know the material), rather than chrome. That might be an option for replacement. Personally, I'd stick with the chrome

Yes, all very different to the Polo...

The buttons are the same, but the surround, door handle, door release catch etc are all different.
