Getting a bit down with my polo at the mo, it just seems to have something going wrong with it, now randomly the drivers side window wont close properly unless i force it up, it gets about halfway and then opens again, i'm not sure if its jammed or whether i've lent on it and bent it? any ideas on how to fix it?

Sounds like the electric window switch, mine did this before you press it down and it goes up by itself or stops halfway etc.
These cost around £9 I think for the drivers side one and the passenger side ones are a bit more expensive supposedly.

both the drivers side switches together, not including the housing and central locking switch cost me £24 inc vat at VW...seperate i think they'd be £9-12 i'd say.

its not your switch tho you said it worked fine? from what you showed me the other day its like i had on my mk4 where the runner is broken and the window tilts back when it is going up....does that make sense?

shantybeater it seems like you had the same problem as me, it turn out to be an switch just like the other members are saying it was a cheap fix.
